Yale students visit Advent
Yale's a cappella group The Baker's Dozen—including Advent alum Lucas from the Class of 2018—visited Advent this week! The group gave a joyful performance during our Community Share and then spent time visiting with First and Second Graders. Students loved hearing the group sing and getting the chance to ask questions about what they’re learning in college at Yale University.
Moments like this are a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact of an Advent education. Alongside the progressive, hands-on learning that defines our classrooms, Advent nurtures a deeply inclusive and supportive community where students build meaningful connections with one another.
During his visit, Lucas shared that many of the friends he made at The Advent School are still among his closest friends today—a testament to the sense of belonging and lifelong friendships that begin here.
