Congratulations to Advent's Class of 2026 on their acceptances to secondary schools!
We are thrilled to share that 100% of Advent’s exam school-eligible Sixth Graders received invitations to Boston’s exam schools, and the overall acceptance rate for the Class of 2026 exceeded 70%. These outstanding results reflect not only the hard work and talents of our students, but also the strength of an Advent education — one that prepares children to thrive in the next stage of their educational journey and beyond.
Each year, Advent’s Next Schools team works closely with students and families to identify middle school placements that will support each child’s continued academic, social, and emotional growth. Beginning in Fifth Grade, students and families partner with the Next Schools team to co-create a personalized roadmap for the Sixth Grade year, including developing a thoughtful list of next school options that reflect each student’s strengths, interests, and goals.
In addition to individualized family meetings, Advent’s comprehensive Next Schools program includes robust ISEE test preparation, practice interviews, hands-on application support throughout the process, and advocacy by the Next Schools team on behalf of students.
