Join us on Monday, April 6 at the Comedy Studio in Cambridge for a night of laughter and camaraderie for a cause! We’re excited to welcome back Advent’s own Bethany Van Delft P'28 and Tony V. P'10'12 to the Comedy Studio stage.
This 21+ evening will feature a stellar lineup of comedic talent, including:
Tony V & Bethany Van Delft – your Advent resident comic and MC keeping it delightfully off syllabus!
Orlando Baxter – a nationally touring stand-up comedian and former high school teacher whose DryBar special "Glorified Baby Sitter" has surpassed 10 million views.
Tooky Kavanagh – In addition to being comic-in-residence at the Comedy Studio, Tooky headlines shows across New England and has appeared at HBO’s Women In Comedy Festival
Brian Longwell – the “Corporate Comedian” who turns overhead projectors into comedic weapons
Kelly MacFarland – Her best-friend energy has appeared on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, the Today Show, and Denis Leary’s Comics Come Home.
Evan Valentine – an absurdist comic and self-proclaimed "failed Olive Garden influencer"
Hidden in the heart of Harvard Square, the Comedy Studio has won three consecutive ‘Best of Boston’ awards and been called ‘the greatest comedy club on earth’ by Conan O’Brien’s producer. Big names occasionally drop by Harvard, but this indie club has made its reputation (established 1996!) by developing and launching comedians such as Eugene Mirman, Dan Mintz, and Larry Murphy (Bob’s Burgers). Talent has run the gamut from Chris Fleming and Joe Wong to Sam Jay and Gary Gulman.
In addition to being a great night out, Comedy Night raises much-needed funds for the School; with the support of the extended community, we can ensure that future generations learn with passion, act with courage, and change the world. This event is open to everyone age 21+, so we encourage you to bring your friends!
