Substitute Teachers

The Advent School accepts resumes for substitute teachers on a rolling basis for the current school year.

Substitute teachers support the Advent student community at all grade levels and in all Specialist (art, music, library, yoga and mindfulness, PE, science, and Spanish) classes. While experience in all teaching areas is not required, substitutes should be flexible and interested in supporting the learning of all students.

The substitute teacher position is a per diem position.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment for students.

• Support instruction through delivering lessons, leading discussions with students, and supporting the duties of the daily position.
