Anticipated Openings: Early Childhood

The Advent School seeks teachers for anticipated Pre-K through Second Grade openings during the 2024-25 academic year.

Responsibilities & Duties
Teachers at The Advent School know their students well and use this knowledge to design and facilitate thematic, student-centered curriculum that combines academic and social-emotional learning.

The Early Childhood program, explicitly designed to promote our youngest students as advocates of their education, is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and rooted in principles of social justice.

The Advent School’s program promotes progressive, hands-on, project-based teaching that interweaves the arts, academic skills, and social justice themes. Teachers communicate regularly with families about the curriculum and partner with them regarding their child’s progress.

Professional Development is the cornerstone of maintaining the highest standards of education that we provide at The Advent School. Each teacher is expected to engage in professional dialogue as a teacher/learner and researcher.
