Advent’s after-school program is more than an extension of the school day.

The Enrichment program offers unique opportunities for children to explore their interests, dive into new topics, and make friends.

After-School Enrichment

Students from all grades are eligible to enroll in various After-School courses and can choose from approximately 50 courses per week. Courses range from robotics, STEM, sports, arts and crafts, and study groups to private music and language programs. Children can enroll in just one course or take several courses throughout the week. Each course combines a lesson, snack, recess, and fun group activity.

ADVENTures Programs

The Advent School believes in supporting working families and offers programming during school breaks (February and April) and on family/teacher Conference days. Called ADVENTures, this program offers day-long activities centered around a single topic.

The Enrichment Department believes:

  • all children are creative problem solvers

  • in cultivating a culture of collaboration

  • Boston is an extension of the classroom, helping children find inspiration and identify the needs of their communities

The Enrichment Department comprises six robust programs. The After-School program serves approximately 100 Advent students in pre-kindergarten through Sixth Grade per day and offers child care for select school events.

Enrichment also hosts programs open to the greater community, including the Design at Advent summer program, school break week programming, and Makerspace Saturdays.
