Located in the heart of Boston, on historic Beacon Hill in 2 adjoining townhouses, with newly renovated, light-filled classrooms, Library, Music room and Earth Lab, and playground; walking distance to Boston Common, the Public Garden, the Charles River Esplanade, and the Museum of Science. Physical Education takes place at nearby Fire House Gym and at the Charlestown YMCA.
ADVENTtures offers rich variety of after school activities including music lessons, language studies, dance, yoga, arts and crafts, from 3:30 until 5:00, with Late Club available until 6:00 everyday.
The Advent School is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for hiring the Head of School, setting policy, and overseeing the long-term financial well-being of the School in accordance with its mission. The daily operation of the school is the responsibility of the Head of School and the professional educators and administrators.
