Spanish
Children at The Advent School begin Spanish in their Kindergarten year. By Second Grade students meet in half groups twice a week with our teacher, a native speaker from Venezuela. They develop extensive vocabularies and learn to apply appropriate sentence structure through an interactive study of the Spanish language.
Each year the entire school community participates in a two-month Spanish cultural study, culminating in student sharing by class and content area.
