In a program tailored to their growing intellectual strengths, First, Second, and Third Graders learn to think critically and creatively. Teachers immerse their students in Thematic Studies that focus on interdependence in the natural world and teach them take local, global, and historic perspectives.
Children begin basic research projects, applying their reading, writing, and thinking skills as they gather and organize information into a new whole. From written expression to hands-on projects, children work collaboratively, seeking out relationships between subject areas while they master their skills and generate new ideas.
