With a wide variety of classes, we offer instruction for students in the Arts, Environmental Studies, indoor and outdoor Learning, and World Language. Summer Programs

LearningBOSTON and ADVENTures in Learning take place during June and July and are led by Advent teachers. LearningBOSTON is a two-week program based on a city theme. In mixed-age groups children explore Boston and collaborate on a culminating project that integrates the Arts, Reading, and Writing. ADVENTures in Learning is a four-week skills program that meets three mornings a week to address children’s academic needs. Individualized instruction coupled with small group work make learning fun and productive.

LearningBOSTON 2010: Art in the City of Boston

This summer we will create one or more large scale collaborative works of art, to which all students will contribute. Each child, in a partnership or group, will consider ways to represent the city of Boston, its history, and its culture. Our ultimate goal is to make an artistic contribution to the city, which communicates the shared message of our group.

Session 1: June 14 – June 18, 2010
Session 2: June 21 – June 25, 2010
Session 3: August 30 – September 3, 2010

Cost: $400 per session; some financial aid is available. Space is limited.
