The Advent School Professional Development model is built on our commitment to a growth-oriented faculty culture. We believe that all teachers are learners. As members of the Advent community, teachers are invested in the ongoing process of professional growth and engage in a professional dialogue as part of teacher learning groups.
Our faculty are committed to cultivating the art of teaching, which centers on a deep appreciation for children, the learning process, and professional discourse. Teaching is an art, and teachers are central to our learning community. Through open dialogue with their peers they develop a deeper understanding of and new strategies for helping children learn.
