A City School

Located in the heart of historic Boston, The Advent School uses the city itself as a classroom.

Our students study science at The Museum of Science, local history at the State House, oceanography in Boston Harbor, archaeology at Harvard’s Peabody Museum, and ancient arts and cultures at the Museum of Fine Arts.  They play soccer on the Charles River Esplanade and ice skate on Boston Common.  They experience theater, music, and dance.  They discover neighborhoods and explore the region’s many natural resources.

"I've learned about Boston and I might even say that I am more aware of my surroundings here than my parents are."
