Volunteering

Parent volunteers are welcome to participate in many aspects of school life. Parents can volunteer to join a committee, accompany their child’s class on a field trip, help out in the library, seek donations for the Spring Benefit, give tours of the School, or simply stuff envelopes. Approximately 90 percent of Advent parents volunteer at least once during the school year.

Additionally, there are often volunteer opportunities within the framework of the Parents Committee. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Stephanie Ellington at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

“What is absolutely unique [about the Advent School] is the judgment, creativity, and developmental attention with which its rich multi-cultural program has been constructed. If any school will underscore and illuminate the opportunity and challenge with which multi-cultural education can be considered, this fine, small, humane scholarly little school can do it for us all.”
