The Fund for Advent
The Fund for Advent is a yearly appeal for donations to support the current operations of the School. Donations to the Fund for Advent are spent within the year they are received and are part of the School’s budget. These gifts enhance the day-to-day life of every student and faculty member by supporting academic programs, faculty development, the arts, technology, the library, financial aid, as well as maintenance and improvements for the School’s physical plant.
Parents, grandparents, alumni/ae, past parents, faculty, administrators, trustees, and friends of Advent all share in the responsibility of meeting the school’s educational goals. We need the participation of everyone in our Advent community to help us realize Advent’s mission. Last year, gifts ranged from $25 to $25,000 with over 84 percent of parents participating. One of our important goals this year is to come even closer to 100 percent participation. Such high participation levels help the School in its efforts to successfully solicit grants from foundations and other major donors.
To recognize and encourage our donors, several gift levels have been established:
