Early Childhood Center: Age 4 by September 1st
Kindergarten: Age 5 by September 1st

Applications for each grade level are accepted annually.
The Advent School was founded to represent the diversity of Boston and diversity remains central to our Mission. Racial, ethnic, religious, family, and socio-economic diversity are all represented in our community.
Tuition for 2011 – 2012 academic year:
Early Childhood Center, Kindergarten, and First Grade – $20,400
Second Grade – $20,500
Third Grade – $20,600
Fourth Grade – $20,700
Fifth Grade – $20,900
Sixth Grade – $20,900
Our afterschool ADVENTures program runs daily until 6:00 p.m.
Advent offers Art, Library, Music, Physical Education, Science, and Spanish.
Advent attracts families from all over the greater Boston area including Cambridge and other nearby towns and suburbs.
The City of Boston offers bus transportation to children, age 5 to Fifth Grade, who are city residents and live within the Advent School zone.
School opens at 7:45 a.m. and classes begin at 8:15 a.m.
Monday – Thursday dismissal is at 3:15 p.m.
Friday dismissal is at 12:30 p.m.
Spanish is offered in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Additional language programs are offered in our ADVENTures afterschool program.
All children go through the application process to ensure that The Advent School is an appropriate fit for each child. The School gives preference to qualified siblings of currently enrolled children.
Children bring their lunches from home. All snacks and lunches must be nut-free in accordance with School policy.
There is no formal dress code, but children are asked to wear neat, clean, and appropriate clothing.
The Advent School offers one-to-one and small group tutoring to those who require support in Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Mathematics.
